The Twin Cities' first family of soul, R&B, and gospel, the prolific Steeles have worked with a slew of diverse artists from near and far, crossing Prince's Graffiti Bridge and heading to Broadway on the wings of Gospel at Colonus. The annual acoustic Christmas show from J.D. Jearlyn, Billy, Fred, and Jevetta features rousing versions of the holiday canon, their voices joining in thrilling harmonies while the group's original arrangements sparkle with touches of jazz and Motown. There are plenty of classics and holiday originals to pick from on the Steeles' pair of seasonal albums: It's Christmas and This Must Be Christmas.
