These Elves Went to Art School

It would be fair to say that this is a small large show. What I mean by that is that over 20 artists were asked to create over 200 works where nothing was over 4 inches in size. The logic behind this is that local artists' work can become the perfect, affordable stocking stuffer this holiday season. For example, Jennifer Davis's bright blue and pink paintings of lambs and girls would look lovely in any Uptown kitchen. Telos's claymation-esque photography of tracksuit-donning, ammo-laden, and ski-mask-wearing figures up to dubious activities would make any hipster's mantle cooler. Isaac Arvold's painting featuring a helmet-wearing rabbit wandering through a burned-out forest with a machine gun may mirror your sentiments exactly by the end of the holiday season. In a matter of weeks, Grandma's fudge will be gone; fortunately, art lasts a little longer. Holiday reception 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15
