If you ask comedian Robert Hawkins about what he's been up to lately, you'll get an excited response: "I flew with the Blue Angels in March," he says. "I do this routine: I think they should be fired, they don't do anything except set off car alarms, and I don't know how they're supposed to scare anybody with a perfect diamond. Run for your life before they do a loop-de-loop and smoke comes out! They heard me do it on [satellite] radio...they all thought it was hysterical, and they invited me out to fly in one of their fighter jets," Hawkins explains. "I might me the first person who ever puked just hearing he will fly with the Blue Angels, because I was extremely excited. The jokes have nothing to do with how I really feel about them." Hawkins, of course, recognized the special honor. "You can fly in a fighter jet if you re-enlist in the military, which my brother did. He gave 12 years of his life and he flew with the Blue Angels. All I did was take a notebook into the bathroom."
