Cafe Scientifique: Is America Seeing Green?

With Leo DiCaprio's 11th Hour hitting movie theaters, the Prius and Smartcar being the hottest things on the road right now, and even the eco building at the State Fair filling up with curious fairgoers (did you see the size of that blade?), it would seem that the United States is entering an era of environmental enlightenment. What do these recent trends all add up to? Will they make a lasting difference? Is it Leo's awesomeness that makes people choose to live an environmentally friendly lifestyle or is there something more to it? University of St. Thomas behavioral psychologists Christie Manning, Elise Amel, and Britain Scott will take on these and other questions related to psychology and sustainability.
