Who Wants to be a Senator?

Forget free trade with China, privatizing Social Security, and that pesky debate about campaign-finance reform. Here’s everything you really need to know about that gaggle of Minnesotans who are vying for a six-year stint in Washington.

Favorite album: Rolling Stones [no specific album].

Favorite book:The Bible (Revelation) and The Late Great Planet Earth, by Hal Lindsey.

Favorite movie:The Terminator

Favorite TV show:The X-Files, because I think my fellow Senate candidates came from somewhere else.

Favorite Web site: In The Terminator where people are using it to keep warm. Fire in the box.

Favorite State Fair food: Watching the Republicans drinking gallons of milk [and getting] white mustaches, and Democrats always spilling ketchup on themselves.

Guilty pleasure: Using art politically.

Pet cliché: I have no pets but I used to have two Chinese pugs named Sheba and Tuffy. They passed away to pug heaven.

My friends think I'm... the best person they have ever met or wanted to meet or will ever meet. But what do they know! I am suspicious of them and I am usually right.

Proudest moment: [Editor's note: Savior chose to relate his "most interesting" moment.] Writing this letter to you hoping you understand and seeing the eyes of the elitist (great) seven DFL candidates when they don't win.

Biggest regret: Not traveling around the world, not enjoying life more, not putting my footprint on the moon or spinning around upside down in cyberspace.

Secret ambition: Maybe president of the United States--ASAP of course. Creating a new and more peaceful world for the next generation of children.
