More About
As afternoon DJ on the now-defunct REV 105, as well as host of its Sunday evening new age-meets-future-rock specialty show Moonlight Meditations (the station's single highest-rated program, and the Cities' most listened-to show in its time slot), Shawn Stewart was a unique and much-loved voice on Twin Cities radio. She was also, along with REV co-conspirator Kevin Cole, a ubiquitous presence on the local music scene: emceeing concerts, hanging out, and generally cultivating good vibes. That she beat out so many other celebrities (many of whom are much more widely known) in the "rarest bird" competition--especially given that she's been off the air for weeks--says a lot about the impact of her program and the station. Here's hoping to hear from her again very soon.
